Many of you are probably on your summer break right now, having just finished school, sixth-form or university and like me, you’re probably wondering how you can enjoy your free time? No more sitting at home with your head buried in textbooks, now it’s time to get out and liberate yourself! I have the answer to all your prayers, a village filled with fun, laughter, screams (occasionally) and even the chance to make some money!
Liverpool is famous for it’s musical culture, beautiful buildings and vibrant personalities. If you mix all the fun, exciting and vibrant aspects of Liverpool, what do you get? Pier Head Village. Located on the Pier Head in Liverpool, just a short walk from the iconic 30 James Street and Royal Liver Buildings is a brand new village filled of amusement rides (three of the tallest adrenaline rides), bars, a bouncy village and incredible places to eat.
My personal favourite is the Prosecco bar, I mean what’s not to love about glorious weather and an ice cold glass of Prosecco or champagne?
Although you’re not likely to find me on the thrilling rides, they’re a favourite of Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby who was filmed by the Liverpool Echo LIVE on a ride. Talk about being brave!
If you’re free during summer, why not check out The Pier Head Village – open 7 days a week from 11am-11pm until September 10th. For information and advice on the location and getting there, click here.
