Liverpool girl group Atomic Kitten have confirmed they are back in the studio re-recording their 2001 hit single Whole Again in light of the recent viral clips shared on social media praising England manager, Gareth Southgate.
The chorus, made by fans mixes the hit single with the former World Cup anthem, Three Lions that is currently sweeping the country.
The verse in honour of the England manager changes the lyrics to “looking back on when we first met, I cannot escape and I cannot forget, Southgate you’re the one – you still turn me on, football’s coming home again”
A clip which has been viewed by over a quarter of a million fans has encouraged Natasha Hamilton and Liz McClarnon to head back into the studio and support the England team ahead of tonight’s match against Croatia, with all four members of the band sharing the song on Twitter:
A little something for our boys ahead of the semi-final tomorrow with love from Us. xx 😉
